GOD HAS REVEALED HIMSELF IN THE PERSON OF JESUS. Avoid other gospels like the plague they are. God’s revelation of Himself is The Revelation and the lens through which the Bible and our lives are to be read.

The Enemy is a thief and a robber while Jesus is life and light in Himself. The enemy chips away at the fullness of Christ, dilutes the cross, extinguishes the new covenant and seduces Believers to live in a state of being less than the fullness of Christ and in cunningly devised fables. The result is Believers get to live in this lesser version of themselves as if this is the plan of God.

We need a view of God that is undiluted and un-encrusted by the ideas of man. Jesus reveals that the old testament ideas of God were partial and in many cases deficient. Life in the knowledge of good and evil has corrupted our vision of God and our concept of ourselves. Only in Christ are these veils taken away. How important then to be possessed by the Christ of God rather than false christs and vain imaginings seeded the Enemy as doctrines of demons that have become the common assumptions of God’s people. The greatest success of the anti-christ is to undo the new covenant.

'For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ' John 1.17 NIV.

Father and Son cannot be known through the law. There is a dichotomy in the verse above but it is not between grace and truth. It is between law and Jesus. We are being told that an authentic view of Father cannot be found in the knowledge of good and evil and its sub-set the law of Moses. Jesus is the full expression of the Father. Grace and truth, far from being abstractions are the God who is love. He is love. Not Mr. Demand, Sir Performance or the Emperor called You're Not Good Enough. He is the God who loves us and who takes delight in who we are.

Jesus has declared who Father is and continues to do so through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. (He has declared who you are by the ministry of Himself.)
Just as Jesus lived to make Father known, so Holy Spirit lives to make Jesus and the Father known. Any heart who desires Jesus above all else will know the truth about the Father. Any person with an unconditional love of Jesus will know the truth that sets them free.

In the old testament the people of God were rebuked for walking with their backs to God and urged to seek God's face. Today Jesus is the new and living way of seeing Father's face and the only way Father's face can be seen and known. To see Jesus is to see Father. Jesus is the human face of God and is present within us to reveal Him to each of us in our unique identity and circumstance. Jeff Turner writes, 'Jesus as the word is the Father's declaration of Himself.' Jesus is also the declaration of who you are.

To posit the law as the declaration of God is to shrink God and shrivel ourselves. In the age of the Spirit you live in the Spirit of Sonship as a son inhabited and surrounded by the Spirit of God. To say that law is the essence of God is dumb God down and put your humanity to death. Thus in crucifying the son of God anew we crucify ourselves. No! God’s ‘yes’ is that Christ lives in you and you have become the expression of Jesus.

'I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire' Luke 3.16 NIV.

The fire of God not only anoints. It edifies. The Father of lies began our disempowerment by lying about Father and then about our status as sons. All that is false and deadening in our impressions of Father and ourselves is uprooted and cast aside in Jesus.

One reason for His baptizing with His own in fire is to burn away by the Spirit of Revelation all distorted views about God and ourselves.

The persons of Jesus and the Holy Spirit are critical to our accurate knowledge of God. The gospel of the Kingdom is the Kingdom of Father and His Sons. Sons live in the Son of God. The complete and final exposition of the gospel of the Kingdom is found in the apostle's doctrine. This is the one authoritative interpretation of the Bible and the contours of God's mysterious plan revealed firstly as Christ and secondly as Christ in us. There is no other. There is no improvement, no addition to the apostles doctrine and never will be.

The scripture below is not just some declaration about eternal life. It is the expression of the infinite resurrection life of Jesus within us today.

'To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory' Col 1.27 NIV.

By the Spirit of Sonship, the eyes of our hearts are opened to accurately know God and ourselves. Because of the Holy Spirit we are not orphans but sons in spirit and in truth. In Christ we are joined to God and come to know Father as He is. The real gospel is always the truth about Father and the reality and privilege of our position in Him as His daughters and sons. The reason: The Kingdom of God proceeds and comes forth in the authority of sons. The Kingdom is birthed into the world by the Bride of Christ from the Seed of The Son. The sons of God birth the new creation. We cannot live in the law and be a son in this sense. We can be religious sons, disempowered sons, sons of the slave woman and sons whose discernment is nil. But we cannot be sons of God in spirit and in truth.

Good seed comes from God's Son. Bad seed is the sowing of other gospels at the hand of the evil one. Such seeds grow sons of the evil one.

KINGDOM: 'It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown' Luke 8.8 NIV.

WEEDS: 'The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one' Matt 13.38 NIV.

If we are seated in law and embody a Christianized version of the knowledge of good and evil, we will tied to some version of law and model truth as an abstraction. We will have an inclination to draw life from stances and structures; we will have a cataract in our eyes that dulls our appreciation of the simple, raw and radical force that is Christ our life. We will turn Christ our life into religion and churn endlessly in this conceit like clothes in a washing machine. We will have a lesser christ and a diminished view of Father. We will mistake Bible study, missionary endeavor and countless acts of religion for the gospel of the Kingdom when all they are is merely a gospel that lacks spirit and life.

Jesus and His gospel of the Kingdom is the complete and entire revelation of God. Jesus’ witness and the teaching of the apostles and particularly the teaching of Paul, teaching that he called ‘my gospel’ is the one and only authoritative revelation of God. There never has been and never will be any addition to this. All excellent Christian teaching and all that comes to us as wisdom and revelation to be shared with others for the benefit of the church is the revealing and explaining of this one original gospel.

‘But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!’ Gal 1.8,9 NIV.

As has been emphasized, to undo the new covenant and revert to law in any form is to diminish God and shrivel ourselves making it impossible to be the bearers of spirit and life. This is the curse Paul speaks of.

Truth is a person when Christ is our life. When Christ is our life the church is Jesus manifest. Here truth is witnessed by the Son and the Father in us. Truth is realized because we are in God. When Christ is our life we manifest the truth of the Father and the Son. We are the sons of God and we minister His Kingdom. We are His agents of the new creation. We are the manifest presence of Jesus, the multiplication of His Kingdom in the world.
