In Christ we are made alive. Nothing less. Nothing more. Jesus is life. Not the means to life. Life itself. His life is not something separate from his being. Life is Jesus.
Similarly Jesus is righteousness itself. Righteousness is not something extraneous to Jesus. It is him. Righteousness is who he is. Jesus is the righteousness from God because God is righteousness itself.
When Jesus came he did not preach for righteousness and against sin. He preached himself – not only forgiveness but the life of the world.
Life is found in love. God is love. Jesus is God’s love in us and for us.
All things hold together in Jesus. He is your life to the full. He is the order in which the universe functions. He is the life-giving Spirit. He is the love of God.
With Jesus as your life you are fully a person, fully alive. But you can only live in fullness when you live by the Spirit of Christ.
One of Jesus' name's is LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT.
Did you know that you are a spirit being - an embodied spirit in fact. God is a spirit and He breathed Himself into you at creation. Christ incarnate in you can make littles sense unless you understand that the Spirit of God has been re-joined to your spirit so that Christ becomes your life.
You can have more of Jesus, which means that the Father gets to have more of you. The more the Father has of you the greater the degree of Sonship you live in. The more you are your real self - the self Jesus had in mind before the creation of the earth.
As daughters and sons your home, your place is in the Father - not because of anything you do or have done. But entirely on account of Jesus.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed” Luke 4.18 NIV.
